Brown County Dragway is one of the foundation race tracks in Indiana if not the country! It started out by flag racing on a dirt quarter mile track - of course a lot of changes have been made! We are an 1/8th mile track located 5 miles North of tourist attraction, Nashville Indiana.
We now have the LED lights for the tree, and run with equipment used by the National tracks. We use the Port-A-Tree system for our timing and welcome viewing of how we run an un-biased race. We want you to know more and feel comfortable that you WILL have a FARE race.
We value our track as being a family track. There have been several racers "raised" at Brown County Dragway who have moved from the Jr. Dragsters to the Super Pro class! We are currently offering a Tiny Tots class allowing youngsters to race the small electric vehicles that the kids can drive (to the 60 foot linge)!
Speaking of classes, we offer Super Pro, Pro, and Sportsman class. Highlights of the year include the $2000 to win Run what you Brung races, First time ever Big Bucks Race, Father's Day race (Whinners Race), Mother's Day race (mom's race for FREE!), Spring Classic, Wedan Street Performance King of the Street, and of course the Fall Invitational (everyone welcome) where we have wheel standing and burn out contests, Halloween costume contest, trick-or-treating through the pits, and dancing :)
