RACE RESULTS

The weather was absolutely fantastic this past Sunday!  Since the Mother’s Day race was cancelled last weekend due to some not so great weather, we raced the moms this weekend.  Flowers were given out to every mom that came in the gates just to say thank you for being a part of the Brown County Dragway family and we appreciate you and yours for coming and spending you Sunday with us.  In addition, moms got a free manicure with the Satin Hands treatment and free Satin Lips from Mary Kay products up until practice got started. 

I think the moms were a little apprehensive to find themselves a car to race in the Mother’s Day race, and during practice there were only three moms who were taking advantage of this free race.  During break, and with a little persuasion, we went from three moms to EIGHTEEN MOMS!  They were so nervous, and so excited at the same time!  For one mom, she learned how to do a burn out – an awesome one at that – in a regular race car to boot!  And then there were some moms who just couldn’t find their way into a regular car…so they raced golf carts against Sandy!  Although…Sandy did get disqualified for leaving the surface of the track J - she pointed out that the other ladies did too, but I refered her to the rule “first or worst” and she did it first!  We had a blast!  Hats off to all the moms that participated and all the dads and kids that gave the moms enough encouragement to become a race car driver for one day! And thank you to all of the donations for the mother’s Mad Money from family, spectators, and especially our own Staff!
